about

This song was born when my dad told me "It never snows after the dogwoods bloom", then mentioned I should write a song about it. Like My, My, My, you probably won't see it anywhere else again, so GET IT!

lyrics

Let the air billow and drift out your nose,
And wrap up your sorrow like a St. Valentine's rose,
And write off your friends in unapologetic prose,
And walk about outside in the snow.

Because the weights keep on dragging at your heels,
And the picture show is sticking to the reels,
You've been dragged around time and time again, then the dogwoods bloomed,
You thought it was safe to smile, then it snowed in your room.

(There's snow outside and my lips can't decide whether to kiss it all goodbye, oh, how I've been wanting to die)

Let the cold bite and tear up your ears,
And buy your self esteem with all your fears,
Then shed your skin and take to the Ruby Piers
And wade in the waters till it clears.

I'm so confused.
