about

I've been trying SO hard to write a normal praise and worship song, without grotesque (but LOVING!!) imagery. This is one of the attempts, it's short, sweet, simple, and you probably won't see it anywhere else.

lyrics

He breathes a bit of ghost into my veins,
It pulls on the brakes and latches on the reins,
When my mind is too tongue tied to say:
"Praise His Name."

When the spiraling arms of love wraps my throat,
He slips in the cracks, leaks into my coat,
He moves my fingers and plays my guitar
When I don't know where YOU are.

So I'll lift my hands to God,
These wrists have bled with what You'd bought,
My nostrils cry with Your spirit,
My lungs wease with a little bit, a little bit of ghost.
